With a more “new normal” of a post-COVID world in place, we’ve made an effort this year of bringing back experiences that add value to our life. Kathleen Munson Quality of Life Champion Award
On February 7th, Allen & Company, was honored to be named the first recipient of the Kathleen Munson Quality of Life Champion Award by the Lakeland Chamber of Commerce.
The award recognizes a business that has created significant impact to improve and sustain the quality of life accessible to Lakeland Residents. As we have for 90+ years, we continue to strive to make a Profound & Positive Impact in the lives of our Associates, Clients, and our Community!

Our team has been participating in new on-line streaming exercise classes within a group setting through our parent company right here at Allen & Company! These type of virtual classes are often readily available, with no subscription necessary, through your health insurance provider. Additionally, some health plans also offer discounted gym memberships. We would encourage you explore options within your health insurance to see what may be available for you!
Food at your Door
One of the new benefits in our post-COVID world is the convenience of on-line grocery and medical prescription delivery options. We have had success assisting some families getting this set up and would welcome the opportunity to work with you if this is something that would make your life easier! Just give us a call!

Our community is thriving! Lakeland was recently ranked number 3 of the Top US Boom Towns by Lending Tree. Also, if you are not familiar with LAL Today we would encourage you to visit their site here. LALToday is a great source for current events, news and local experiences. You may want to consider signing up for their daily newsletter as well, which we’ve found to be a great way to stay up-to-date on all things Lakeland.
Supporting the Community
As we all know Polk County residents are no strangers to giving back. Most recently our team has been active volunteering with VISTE, running in the Polk County Breast Cancer Awareness 5K, supporting the SPCA annual event, the Annual Lakeland Entrepreneur Awards, as well as playing in the Polk in Education charity golf tournament. We would encourage you to begin a routine of supporting a cause near and dear to you!
