Since joining the firm in 2016, Chris Hammond has been recognized both within and outside the firm for his work with clients.
Among his accomplishments include being named by Forbes Magazine as one of the Top “Next-Gen” Wealth Advisors in the state of Florida in 2023. Additionally, Chris is a member of the Allen & Company Leadership Council and is the Chair of the Allen-Albritton-Houghton-Hammond Group Investment Committee, leading investment research and portfolio management for the team.
Chris holds a deep passion for managing investments and is a CFA Charter holder; a credential that requires on average a 4-year commitment and is considered by many to be the gold standard of investment management designations.
Within the community, Chris currently serves as a Trustee for the City of Lakeland Firefighter’s Pension Fund, and he and his wife are passionate supporters of SPCA Florida.
In addition, he has completed thesis level research in behavioral finance and has a passion for helping clients overcome the natural psychological biases of investing. He holds the Series 7, 86, 87 and 66 registrations with LPL Financial. Chris also holds an insurance license for Life, Health and Variable Annuities.
Chris joined Allen & Company as a graduate of Southeastern University where he obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Finance. While at Southeastern he was honored as the Most Outstanding Finance Major in his graduating class, while also playing on the school’s golf team
